The Copyright Act protects photographers by giving the author of the photograph (the photographer) the exclusive right to reproduce your photographs.  This includes the right to control the making of copies.

It is illegal to copy or reproduce these photographs without our permission, and violators of this Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties. Any unauthorized reproduction, duplication, distribution (including by way of email, facsimile or other electronic means), publication, modification, copying or transmission of individual or collective images, in whole or in part, by electronic or mechanical means, in any form or by any means, is prohibited without the express or prior written consent of the Studio.
